Pseudotsuga menziesii

形态描述：乔木，原产地高达100米，胸径达12米；幼树树皮平滑，老树树皮厚，深裂成鳞状；一年生枝淡黄色（干时红褐色），微被毛。叶条形，长1.5-3厘米，宽1-2毫米，先端钝或微尖，无凹缺，上面深绿色，下面色较浅，有2条灰绿色气孔带。球果椭圆状卵圆形，长约8厘米，径3.5-4厘米，褐色，有光泽；种鳞斜方形或近菱形，长宽相等或长大于宽；苞鳞直伸，长于种鳞，显著露出，中裂窄长渐尖，长6-10毫米，两侧裂片较宽而短，边缘有锯齿。
